Eassie, Nevay and Kirkinch have enjoyed the facility of a village hall for more than 80 years. Relied on by the local school for gymnasium provision and the host to dozens of dances, classes, parties, WRI meetings, fund-raisers and coffee mornings the hall has allowed the community to grow strong and thrive.

Over recent years it became apparent that the durability and longevity of the current hall was in question and a replacement would soon be required. Built in the 1920’s utilising the construction materials of the day, timber, harling and asbestos cement, the current hall is now past the end of it’s useable life.

We are nearly there…

Time is now of the essence as construction must be concluded and a completion certificate obtained by 31 December 2010 in order to qualify for all of our funding. It is essential that we meet the deadline as much depends on it, including the future viability of our school
